I’m Jonathan Dow, a Christchurch-based joiner specialising in custom built fitted furniture and bespoke joinery solutions designed to help clients make the most of their home spaces. My passion for joinery started at an early age, inspired by my grandfather — a true old-school craftsman who taught me the value of quality workmanship and pride in your trade. He would often pass down his old tools to me, and that early influence sparked a lifelong passion for creating things properly, with care and precision.
With over 30 years of experience across joinery, cabinet making, and high-end interior fit-outs, I’ve worked in both domestic settings and the exacting superyacht sector, where precision and finish are everything. That experience has shaped the standards I bring to every project today.
